Today I went to Crufts, it was the last day of the event and although very busy, I can say a fantastic time was had by all, I enjoyed meeting all the dogs in the Meet the Breed section and by having these stands, it gives you a fantastic insight into the different breeds (especially for anybody seeking a new edition to the family), with the added bonus of having a hands on pat and stroke.

What I did have a lot of time for was the stands for the rehoming of dogs, I spoke to representatives from The Dogs Trust, Birmingham Dogs Home and Manchester Dogs Home. These rehoming centres dedicate everything to rehome dogs, and do a brilliant job in rehoming many dogs to loving forever homes. there are however still many dogs living in these centres waiting for their chance to prove they can be an awesome family pet.

If you or anyone you know has any interest in adding a dog to the family then please give these centres a try, have a look over their websites, call or even visit in person to discover if they have your forever friend just waiting for you.

Please support these wonderful charities.
