Dog Walkers

I would like to start this blog with the fact that I love my career and cherish the time I spend with my furry friends, however recently I have noticed a large amount of "dog walkers" springing up in our local area, though most will be just as professional and diligent as I am, I have seen some not so.
Recently I had the unfortunate opportunity to witness one such new "Dog Walking company" arrive at a local park in a small Renault, when the boot was opened I witnessed 8 dogs escaping from the rear. These dogs were all loose in the back, with 4 of the dogs being GSD size.
The dogs were then left to run amok on the open space, much to the hindrance of other users, for only 10 minutes , the "walker ", a term I use very loosely, used a liver treat to get all the dogs back in the car and then put a small dog with clear vehicle avoidance and physically shaking in between the legs of the larger animals.
This "walker" was duly challenged and the details of what I could ascertain were promptly passed to the relevant authorities.
As a professional and caring person I ensure that I am fully up to date with current animal welfare regulations and ensure that I provide as much of a safe calm and comfortable area as I can for my furry friends.
Many of these new companies are not insured and don't have experience or knowledge of dogs and are out to make a much money as they can in the pet industry with little or no regard to animal welfare.
Even if its not Bella's Dog Walking that you choose as your service provider please ensure that the company you choose are professional, insured and that they adhere to all carriage of animals under the animal welfare and transportation act.
Please feel free to pass this information on to any person that you known that are looking for a pet service.
many thanks
